Director People and Performance - Relocate to Tasmania$156,075 and $171,573 p.a. plus 11.5% superThe Department of Health is seeking an experienced leader to step into the critical role of Director People and Performance. This executive position is responsible for leading and delivering contemporary initiatives across the employee lifecycle and supporting organisational change that will enable the delivery of the Departments strategic priorities.The RoleThe Director People and Performance is responsible for strategic leadership of the People and Performance team offering the opportunity to design and deliver outcomes for complex matters such as employee engagement and wellbeing; performance and development planning; leadership capability development; diversity and inclusion; talent management initiatives and cultural development.In addition, leading a contemporary, customer-centric and value-adding HR business partnering function provides an opportunity to support organisational change, and ensure that strategic people-related interventions are fit for purpose and embedded at the local level.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.The position is offered as a 5-year contract, with an attractive remuneration package, including a salary range between $156,075 and $171,573 p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:Satisfactory completion of an appropriate course of study from a recognised tertiary institution in a relevant fieldStatement of Duties and any Associated DocumentsWe encourage you to review the Statement of Duties, Applicant Guide, prior to applying for an overview of the duties, program, selection process and application guidance.All applications must be submitted online via the Tasmanian Government Jobs website and include a brief statement (maximum 2 pages)outlining your experience, skills and knowledge as they relate to the role.
