From $93,000 (+ Super + Flights + Meals/Accom)Due to continuing growth and ongoing contracts we are looking for full time, experienced Camp Managers, Camp Chefs and Camp Attendants to join our team.Multiple Positions Available!Immediate startFull time FIFO work in some of the most remote, raw and beautiful parts of AustraliaDesert City is looking for passionate, energetic people, hiring out ofAdelaide, Brisbane and Toowoomba for full time, ongoing work.We believe in hiring the best people and letting them share their experience and passion.Our Chefs create great menus and share their personal flair with our customers. We pay above award All meals and accommodation are provided whilst on hitch An equal time roster, 3 on 3 off Excellent accommodation on site and transport to site Flights provided (from point of hire)We are a young, growing company and as we grow, we expect our people to grow in their roles with us.Inductions and certificates that will make your application stand out include:All candidates (required): A national police clearance (dated within 6 months) Full Manual Australian driver license Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)Chefs and Chef Manager: Chef qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher or equivalent) Oil and Gas Industry Safety Induction (ISI or DCGI) (or willing to obtain) Current 4WD certificates (PMASUP236 or RIIVEH305E or RIIVEH305F) (or willing to obtain) Previous experience working in remote environmentsAs the Camp Manager you will be responsible for: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the camp Lead the Desert City team on site Liaising directly with the client on site and planning and adapting as required Listening to customers and altering menus to the feedback Preparing great meals Lunches & Dinners Making bread, desserts and cakes as required Ensuring all company and clients KPIs are met Owning responsibility for your own safety and those around youAs the Camp Chef you will be responsible for: Supporting the Chef Manager Listening to customers and adapting service to the feedback Preparing breakfasts and other meals; including dine in and take away Making bread, desserts and cakes from scratch Driving between locations in the field You may support the Camp Attendant with cleaning if required Owning responsibility for your own safety and those around youWe hope you are as excited about this opportunity as we are wed love to hear from you if you are!N.BWe appreciate your interest in joining our team, although due to the high number of applications, we will only notify short-listed candidates.
