You will have nutrition and dietetics experience working in an acute hospital setting and be passionate about your work!About the roleYou will: Provide a high standard of clinical care to admitted inpatients Provide small group education to specific population groups Work in partnership with Medical Officers and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide assessment and evidence based interventions Provide dietary counseling and education to a variety of different patient populations Contribute to quality improvement and education programsSelection Criteria:1. Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics that meet the requirements for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia.2. Recent and relevant clinical dietetics experience across a range of different clinical specialty areas in a comparable inpatient acute care setting.3. Up-to-date knowledge and skills in nutrition and dietetic practice, including the inpatient acute care setting4. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery5. Demonstrated ability to work independently and also as part of a multidisciplinary team whist maintaining a high volume workload in a fast paced environment.6. Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete activities within scope of practice.7. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and the application of evidence based practice.8.
