CHEAPER BUY MILES is a fast-growing grocery business fighting food waste every day and we need help! Due to our exponential growth and the urgent need to fight food waste to help save the planet, we are now looking to expand our team.Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Chiller/Freezer Supervisor to lead our warehouse team and oversee day to day operations. Main role includes inventory management, stock taking across chilled/frozen products, liaising with store managers and team rostering. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the warehouse flow, and ensure efficiency and productivity within the stores and the warehouse.Casual Rate: $34.15 - $47.81 + Super (overtime rates apply)Schedule: Monday to Saturday (5 days per week, within this range)Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM / 8:00 AM - 4:00 PMSuccessful applicants must be available to work every Saturday.Key Responsibilities:Supervise daily activities: Oversee day to day warehouse operations including receiving, pick packing, and stock deliveries.Inventory Control: Conduct stocktake across chilled/frozen products regularly to ensure accuracy and fulfil store orders.Staff Roster: Roster a team of up to 20 staff across 6 days of operation, and managing time and attendance.Safety and Compliance: Ensure safety regulations are strictly complied within the warehouse.Fleet Management and equipment maintenance:Conduct equipment and machinery inspections regularly including forklifts and servicing of trucks (battery charge and water levels etc.).Team Management and training: Mentor, guide, and train new and existing staff members to optimise warehouse performance, and to ensure an efficient working environment.Improvement Planning: Continuously seeking new ways for Warehouse and Logistics to become more efficient and productive, including the optimisation of space and reducing wastage.Prior experience as a Warehouse SupervisorValid forklift licenseComfortable working in chilled and freezer environmentsPreferred Qualifications:Light Rigid Truck LicenseHigh Reach Forklift LicenseRelevant certifications or coursework in warehousing/logisticsIf youre a hands-on leader with warehouse experience and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment, wed love to hear from you!Unlock job insightsSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
