Full time, ongoing roleSalary commensurate with experience: Professional Level 4 $75,493 - $80,122 per annumplus superGenerous salary packaging options availableAbout CeruleaCerulea Clinical Trials delivers ophthalmic clinical trials for Australian and international biopharmaceutical and medtech companies and is the home of investigator-initiated studies for the Centre for Eye Research Australia.We are a fully owned, not-for-profit subsidiary of CERA and share its vision of a world free from vision loss and blindness.We are committed to delivering the best clinical trial experience for participants, clinicians, and sponsors for discoveries that will become therapies on world markets.To learn more about our work, please visit our website.The rolePlay a vital role in the conduct of industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials across a broad range of eye conditions, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, and more.Duties include but are not limited to:Assist in the conduct and coordination of clinical trials alongside research staff and cliniciansPerform a range of patient assessments (e.g. visual acuity, OCT imaging, intraocular pressure, perimetry)Support clinical procedures and sample collection in accordance with trial protocols (training provided)Manage patient scheduling, communication, and accurate data entryLiaise with patients, sponsors, and healthcare staff to ensure smooth trial delivery.Your skills and experienceA tertiary qualification in Orthoptics and registration with the Australian Orthoptic BoardHigh level interpersonal skills, including the ability to form productive professional relationships and communicate effectively with various stakeholdersProven ability to build and maintain excellent rapport with a wide range of patients, particularly elderly patients, ensuring effective and compassionate communication and careWillingness and ability to quickly learn new techniques and proceduresDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteA solutions-oriented approach with a commitment to working collaboratively with others and fostering a supportive team environment.All offers of employment are subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.About CERAThe Centre for Eye Research Australia is a not-for-profit and an international leader in eye research with real world impact.
