Who we areThe Australian Antarctic Division (AAD) is part of the Commonwealth Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. As the primary agency for Australia''s Antarctic Program (AAP), the AAD is responsible for achieving the Australian Government''s Antarctic goals. These goals are to:maintain the Antarctic Treaty System and enhance Australia''s influence within it,protect the Antarctic environment,understand the role of Antarctica in the global climate system,undertake scientific work of practical, economic, and national significance.The AAD also has responsibility for administering the Australian Antarctic Territory and the Territory of Heard Island and McDonald Islands.The JobThe Site & Logistics Co-ordinator will be responsible for the planning, development, and administration of integrated logistic & civil design (site establishment) for Planning, Design & Constructions phases of major infrastructure projects. The position requires working in a dynamic environment with a multi-disciplined team and being responsive to changing project and organisational demands.Reporting to the Design Lead, this role will collaborate closely with the Australian Antarctic Division (AAD) Operations Branch, Environmental & Construction Sections to deliver operational, logistical, and site establishment components during the Planning, Design & Construction phases of the MISP Project. The ideal candidate will possess good interpersonal skills, be well-organized, flexible, and demonstrate high-level coordination skills, with the ability to produce quality work within tight timeframes.Flexible employment arrangements are available with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. #J-18808-Ljbffr
