The role of Road Safety Officer sees you supervising the day-to-day operation of the School Crossing Supervisor Scheme within a designated area.In the role, you will be directly responsible for: Proactive management of School Crossing Supervisors in your area of control, including recruitment and selection, performance and development of staff, complaints management, rehabilitation facilitation and workforce planning. Providing a safe and healthy workplace, ensuring compliance with Workplace Health and Safety requirements. Investigating and reporting on road safety related incidents or injuries in the school environment including at supervised crossings. Completing a wide range of administrative tasks to support Road Safety and Regional Management teams. Management and coordination of the use of physical resources. Assisting in researching and evaluating community needs and identifying trends and opportunities.
