For more information, visit internationalsos.com. *This project is in the proposal stage, awaiting contract award.* This position supports Kellogg Brown & Root (KBR) Government Solutions in their joint Department of Defense program in Alice Springs, Australia. The individual will represent International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. and perform the following services: We are seeking an experienced Medical Technician to join our interdisciplinary team, perform diagnostic tests, operate medical equipment, and ensure accurate results for patient care. The role involves collaboration with physicians and healthcare professionals to support diagnosis and monitoring of medical conditions. Key Responsibilities: Provide first aid, emergency medical services, health examinations, and nursing services to employees. Coordinate with injury management, workers'' compensation, and external providers. Educate employees on health and illness prevention. Maintain records, accident reports, and statistical data related to incidents, health history, and injuries. Manage inventory of EMS equipment and first aid supplies. Assist with drug and alcohol testing at the worksite. Oversee health-related issues such as water quality, food safety, and living conditions. Follow established procedures to perform duties. Provide healthcare support at designated locations. Use judgment within regulations and procedures for treatment methods. Apply medical techniques supporting QHSE standards. Deliver compassionate patient care and support healthcare providers. Communicate effectively and pay attention to detail. Adapt to dynamic work environments. Handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially. Required Skills and Knowledge: Strong foundation in laboratory procedures, patient care, and diagnostic testing. Attention to detail and proficiency with medical equipment. Work Experience: Minimum five (5) years as a Medical Technician. Experience with medical equipment and tools. Qualifications: Australian Medical Technician certification or license. Current CPR certification. Physical Demands: Work in typical interior/office environments. Sitting and standing for extended periods. Bending, stooping, and lifting up to 15 lbs. Additional Qualifications: US, UK, or Australian citizenship. Willingness to relocate to Alice Springs, Australia. Valid passport required prior to relocation, must be maintained during stay.
