We know that working together is the only way we can achieve what is necessary for a healthier future.About the roleAn exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join Eastern Health, working with a GEM inpatient population with our supportive team at the Peter James Centre. This position will be involved in providing occupational therapy assessment and interventions, and supporting complex decision making and effective discharge planning, with this varied and rewarding caseload. The successful applicant will take a leadership role within the team, will supervise OT staff and students, and will lead quality projects. They will work collaboratively with the allied health team to provide and lead excellent patient care.About youTo be successful in this role you should possess:AHPRA RegistrationDemonstrated clinical expertise in subacute occupational therapyStrong interest in aged careExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to be flexible and change work priorities as required in a dynamic serviceA strong commitment to high quality, evidence based careStrong commitment to collaborative interdisciplinary teamwork and patient centered practiceHealthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice).
