As mission-aligned organisations, we are united in our commitment to care, compassion, and long-term healing.The Supporting Recovery Program Provides Free, Trauma-informed Mental Health Care To Victim-survivors Of Family, Domestic And Sexual Violence (FDSV) And Their Families Across South West Sydney. Services Are Available For Up To Two Years And IncludeEvidence-based psychological therapies and wellbeing interventionsCoordination with other services to support referral pathwaysCommunity engagement to raise awareness and foster supportAbout The RoleWe are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced mental health professional to join our team.Based on current program funding, this role is a Maximum Term (till June 2026) part time role with opportunity to extend further, 3-4 days a week (negotiable), based at Campbelltown.As a Key Member Of The Team, You WillDeliver best-practice, trauma-informed psychological therapiesProvide culturally safe, inclusive, and person-centred careCollaborate with CatholicCare, Anglicare, and external stakeholdersParticipate in supervision, case consultations, and continuous improvementTravel across South Western Sydney as neededWhat Youll BringTertiary degree qualification applicable to role i.e. psychology, counselling, social work, or similar.Registration with relevant professional body i.e. minimum level 2 ACA, PACFA provisional, AHPRA, AASW mental health social worker accreditation.Training and experience in at least two of the following psychological therapies and interventions: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Hoping to Overcome PTSD through Empowerment (HOPE), Intervention Model, Family therapies/Narrative therapy, Occupational therapies, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Somatic Therapy, MindfulnessCurrent NSW Drivers Licence.2+ years experience working with clients experiencing mental health challenges and FDSV (mandatory).5+ years experience and best practice knowledge of working with children and young people with experiences of trauma.Play-therapy, sand-therapy or other child-centred/led best-practice modality training and experience required.Previous relevant training and experience supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and CALD clients (desirable).Police check and WWCC.If you meet the above-mentioned requirements and have demonstrated clinical expertise for this role, and youre passionate about working with a team that supports victim-survivors of family, domestic and sexual violence - wed love to hear from you.
