We are working with a large, diversified group that operates across various industries, primarily focused on manufacturing and industrial sectors. With multiple sites and operations across Australia, they are experiencing continuing growth and are looking to add to their Payroll Team.Reporting to the National HR Leader, with a dotted line to Finance, this is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned payroll professional to take ownership of national payroll operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working autonomously, and is passionate about accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.Based in the Sydney CBD, this role offers a hybrid working model with four days in the office and one day working from home.The RoleManage and process multiple payrolls across various frequencies, ensuring accuracy and timelinessInterpret enterprise agreements, awards, and company policies to ensure correct employee paymentsMaintain accurate records of pay transactions, leave balances, staff movements, and WorkCover paymentsPerform complex payroll calculations including leave accruals, superannuation, redundancy, and taxInvestigate and resolve discrepancies, including processing back payments when requiredSupport compliance and reporting requirements including headcount, staff movement, leave liability, and FBT reportsAssist with month-end reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger activitiesAbout You4+ years experience in a standalone or senior payroll role, ideally within a complex, multi-site organisationProven experience in end-to-end payroll processing and payroll system managementStrong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation, and award interpretationHigh attention to detail, excellent numerical and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindsetExperience using MicrOPay is highly desirableThe salary for this role is up to $100,000 + super dependent on experience.For a full review of our active roles, please visit our website at www.frazerjones.comFrazer Jones is part of The Specialist Recruitment Group PTY LTD, which is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.Please note that your personal information will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy. #J-18808-Ljbffr
