Someone who''s fun, energetic and technically knowledgeable. Systems orientated and always looking to improve. We want someone who is detailed, has emotional intelligence and can be a self driving force to help us grow.With experience in building estimating models for complex tenders of $1m-$30m p.a. contract size in the facilities management space, the role will be a critical supporter of our commercial team.Ideally you will have:Extensive experience in a similar role within the building and construction industryHands on experience gained within a contractor environment in similar industriesBid estimating experience with the ability to prepare tenders for market including full compliance of tender documentation with client requirementsExceptional negotiation skills, strong interpersonal skills to extract information from our suppliers.Exceptional bottom up pricing and take off ability to build estimating sheets that can give a Should cost modelAdvanced computer literacy including Excel and ideally estimating softwareAbility to collaborate as part of a high-performing teamMeticulous attention to detail and accuracy of workPossess a strong work ethic, good organisational skills and can meet strict deadlinesThis opportunity will require successful candidates to undergo a medical and police check.Due to the nature of the major bids there is an expectation that the role will be office based as part of our commercial team and based in Melbourne CBD.What do we need from you now?Send us your CV and pitch to us why you want a change.
