As the business continues to expand, this role offers genuine career progression with opportunities to grow alongside the business and step into broader leadership or specialist finance roles over time.Key responsibilities will include:Managing month-end close, including accrual accounting and reportingOverseeing balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger integrityTracking and analysing OPEX, CAPEX, and marginsSupporting treasury management, cashflow, and FX exposureAssisting with Mark-to-market and hedge accounting practicesContributing to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisImproving financial systems and automation to lift team efficiencySupporting audit, tax, and compliance obligationsProviding commercial insights to support decision-makingThe PersonWe are interested in speaking to you if you possess the following key skills:Experience in financial or management accounting in a commercial setting, ideally at a senior level with a hands-on mindset.Providing leadership to a business in the finance division, and working with business leadership around projects and growth opportunities.Strong working knowledge of accrual accounting and reporting standards.Proficiency in Excel; experience with Xero or similar systems.Strong interest in systems improvement and automation.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Exposure to commodity markets, MTM, or hedge accounting.CPA/CA qualification is preferred.For a confidential conversation please contact Ryan Hoiberg or Charles MacCallum on 1300 380 701 or apply now via www.rimfireresources.com.au. #J-18808-Ljbffr
