Initial 6 month contract + extensions$800 - $1100 per day (inclusive of super)Senior Test Analyst / Test Lead - Utilities (Metering & Distribution)Initial 6 month contract + extensions$800 - $1100 per day (inclusive of super)Melbourne CBD + WFH (hybrid)About the RoleWe are currently seeking experienced and proactive Senior Test Analysts and hands-on Test Leads to join our growing team supporting critical projects within the utilities sector. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact programs in metering and distribution, where your expertise in testing complex market systems will play a key role in successful solution delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, plan, and execute functional and system testing across utilities projectsLead testing efforts in projects involving IEE (Interval Energy Engine) and UIQ (Utility IQ) enhancementsConduct end-to-end testing of market systems to ensure compliance and operational readinessPerform energy market testing, including B2B (Business-to-Business) and B2M (Business-to-Market) schema validationsSupport and execute SAP IS-U (Industry Solution for Utilities) testing, including integration with metering systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, solution architects, and external vendorsIdentify, report, and track defects to resolutionLead and mentor junior testers (Test Lead roles only)Ensure test deliverables meet quality and regulatory standards within the energy sectorKey RequirementsEnergy / Utilities domain experienceProven experience as a Senior Test Analyst or Test Lead in the utilities industryHands-on experience testing IEE and/or UIQ system changesStrong understanding of energy market operations, including B2B/B2M schemaDemonstrated capability in end-to-end market system testing within a regulated environmentExperience with SAP IS-U testing, especially in billing, metering, and device management modulesExcellent test documentation, execution, and defect management skillsFamiliarity with test management tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or similarStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsExperience working in Agile and/or hybrid delivery environmentsDesirableExposure to regulatory reporting and compliance testing in the energy sectorISTQB certificationIf you are interested in this position, please apply for a confidential discussionUnlock job insightsSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchYour application will include the following questions:Do you have a Utilities / Energy Market industry experience?
