Your Way"Listed In the top ten 2024 AFR BOSS Best Places to Work (Professional Services)About the roleWe are seeking an enthusiastic lawyer with 1-3 years of post-admission experience to join our established Disputes and Investigation practice group in our Adelaide office.This role will primarily focus on banking and debt recovery, enforcement of mortgage and other securities, insolvency, secured and unsecured asset recovery and loss minimisation. You will have the opportunity to advise some of Australias largest retail and commercial banking and financial institutions. The role will involve both individual matter work and team collaboration. You will need to use your initiative and will have direct client contact.Responsibilities include:Advice and management of litigation mattersCorresponding with clients and other partiesContributing as a member of a team on large mattersPreparation of court documentsClient relationship managementMediations and court appearancesProviding support and guidance to paralegalsAbout you1-3 years post admission general litigation experience, with preference given to previous experience in banking litigation and insolvency and mortgage enforcementAbility to communicate effectively and professionally (written and verbal)Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with colleagues and stakeholdersDemonstrated skillset to manage timeframes and proactively manage priorities within a teamCollaborative working styleAbout usGadens is a leading, independent Australian law firm, with a clear vision and strategy for the future.
