Join us!POSITION SUMMARY:The Compliance Manager will lead the development and execution of global compliance focused on customs regulations, international trade practices, and product standards. This role is accountable for ensuring that all imported and exported goods meet legal and internal requirements and that Signets merchandise adheres to product compliance expectations across categories.The role includes direct supervision of a team of Compliance Analysts, providing strategic and operational leadership to build a strong compliance foundation that supports sourcing, merchandise delivery, and ethical standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Customs & Trade ComplianceEnsure full compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and international trade laws.Oversee classification (HTS), valuation, country of origin declarations, and use of preferential trade programs (e.g., USMCA, GSP).Manage relationships with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal logistics stakeholders.Monitor tariff updates, duty implications, and trade policy developments and work cross-functionally to ensure execution.Product ComplianceManage compliance of merchandise with U.S. and global product safety regulations (e.g., FTC Jewelry Guides, REACH, RoHS, CPSIA, Prop 65).Maintain testing and documentation programs for raw materials, components, and finished goods in alignment with regulatory and Signet standards.Collaborate with suppliers and QA teams to ensure appropriate certifications, declarations, and lab testing protocols are in place.Team Leadership & DevelopmentManage and develop a team of Compliance Specialists, ensuring clarity of roles, accountability, and ongoing skill development.Provide daily guidance, workload prioritization, and coaching on regulatory matters and internal policies.Lead performance reviews and promote continuous improvement in compliance execution.Cross-Functional CollaborationServe as the subject matter expert on compliance implications for sourcing decisions, new product launches, and special programs.Work closely with Legal, Logistics, QA, Sourcing, and Buying teams to align on compliance objectives.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Regulatory Affairs, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Minimum 2 years of people management experience, with demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and developing direct reports (e.g., Compliance Analysts or Specialists).Experience working with global suppliers, third-party labs, and customs brokers, with strong knowledge of documentation and regulatory requirements ideal.Proven track record managing audits, implementing SOPs, and driving continuous improvement in compliance environments.Leadership & Soft Skills:Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail and a solution-focused mindset.Proven team leadership and ability to delegate, mentor, and build high-performing compliance teams.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and executive leadership.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and to meet tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.High level of professional integrity, discretion, and commitment to upholding ethical business practicesBENEFITS & PERKS:We believe in rewarding top talent with a comprehensive and competitive benefits package designed to support your well-being, professional growth, and work-life balance: Premium Healthcare Coverage Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans to keep you and your family covered. 401(k) with Company Match Invest in your future with a generous retirement savings plan, including company matching after just one year.
