As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and driving sales in our retail store. This is a great opportunity if you''re looking to work for a premium Australian business with immediate commencement available, working with a great team.The Skills We''re Looking ForStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent sales and negotiation abilitiesCustomer-focused mindsetKnowledge of retail operations and productsAbility to work well in a team environmentProactive problem-solving skillsWhat The Role Will EntailGreet customers upon entry, assess their needs, and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience.Maintain a thorough knowledge of the products available in the store to answer customer inquiries accurately.Demonstrate product features, benefits, and usage to potential customers.Utilise effective selling techniques to meet or exceed sales targets.Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed.Lifting of boxes, unpacking stock and use of the compactusCollaborate with team members to achieve store objectives by sharing ideas for improvement or promotional opportunities.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings.QualificationsPrevious experience in retail or customer service roles is preferred but not requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent education level is required; additional certifications related to sales or retail would be advantageous.Must have availability for flexible working hours including evenings, weekends and possibly public holidays (this roster is Sunday-Thursday)Proficiency in using POS systems for processing transactions is desired.Working for Jo MercerJo Mercer is a proudly Australian operated business since 1998 and has grown to become one of Australias most loved footwear brands.The success of Jo Mercer has been built on the core fundamentals of fashion, leather and quality.
