This role offers a rewarding mix of clinical challenge, professional growth, and lifestyle convenience in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.We currently have two positions available:A permanent full-time role, working Monday to Friday (76 hours per fortnight)A permanent part-time role, working every second Saturday, 8am1pmWhether you''re seeking full-time hours or a regular weekend shift, we encourage you to specify your availability and preferred position when completing the application screening questions.In this role, youll primarily deliver clinical pharmacy services to patients in our mental health wards, with rotation opportunities through the rehab wards and dispensary. Youll work closely with medical, nursing and allied health teams, contributing to medication safety, patient education, and continuity of care.Key responsibilities include medication reconciliation, discharge planning, patient counselling, and clinical support all essential to guiding patients through their recovery. You''ll also take part in educational activities and contribute to initiatives that improve medication use across the hospital.Youll be part of a friendly, forward-thinking team supported by experienced technicians and pharmacists, with the backing of the broader Icon Group network.The pharmacy is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the train station, with a tram stop at the doorstep and free on-site parking. Its also surrounded by popular local cafs like NAPA and The Bakers Wife perfect for a coffee before your shift or during a break.Key Responsibilities:Conduct medication reconciliation and discharge summaries at transfers of care Be efficient and effective at dispensing and distribution of medication to the rehabilitation wards in Epworth CamberwellProvide efficient clinical pharmacy services to the mental health and rehab wardsConduct medication history interviews, medication reconciliation and discharge summaries at transfers of careProvide medication counselling & education to patientsWork cooperatively and effectively with multidisciplinary teams and provide advice in regard to patient careMonitor the accuracy of prescriptions dispensed by pharmacy techniciansDevelop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patientsContribute to training and educational sessions for pharmacy, nursing, medical staff and allied health professionalsAssist to oversee imprest services and continuity of medication supplyAbout YouWe are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about joining our team and delivering modern, patient-focused pharmacy services.Key Requirements:Be a current AHPRA registered pharmacist with previous experience in an Australian based pharmacyStrong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)Have time management, communication and teamwork skillsBe flexible and adaptable working with a diverse teamEmbrace change and commit to learningValue attention to detail and able to work autonomously and multi-taskAbout The SiteEpworth Camberwell is a 147-bed specialist rehabilitation hospital, offering expert care across a range of services including a dedicated sleep disorders clinic, Electroconvulsive Therapy (EMI), and 63 beds dedicated to mental health support. The hospital provides tailored rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from acquired brain injuries, cardiac events, musculoskeletal and traumatic orthopaedic injuries, surgery, and neurological conditions such as stroke.Slade Pharmacy, located onsite at Epworth Camberwell, supports patients throughout their recovery journey by offering a wide range of rehabilitation and mobility aids, as well as expert pharmacy services.
