And that makes MYOB Everyones Business.About The RoleWe are seeking a diligent and analytical Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes for the financial services line of business. This role plays a key part in ensuring the integrity of financial data and providing insights for business decision-making.What You''ll Be DoingPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).Perform account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports.Maintain compliance with internal controls, company policies, and external regulations.Collaborate with external auditors during audits.Support the finance team in ad hoc projects, financial analysis and reporting tasks.What We Are Looking ForBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience is acceptable.CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification (preferred but not required).Experience in financial accounting or a similar role.Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.Proficient in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical and organizational skills.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred ExperienceExperience in novated leasing and technology/SAAS industries is an advantageFamiliarity with ERP systems.
