Our work reduces isolation and improves mental health for women on the land,, and we need your help to support our life-changing work through marketing, communications and events.About the RoleWere looking for a Marketing and Events Coordinator to jump in and support our small team with a range of exciting projects. This role will suit someone with a few solid years under their belt in events, communications or marketing, someone whos ready to roll up their sleeves, execute, and work closely with our Marketing and Events Manager. This is a flexible, part-time contract role (around 10 hours/week), which can be worked across one or two days. While much of the work can be done from home, youll need to be able to work in-person at a co-working office in Toowoomba regularly.What Youll Be DoingAs our Marketing and Events Coordinator, youll be an essential support to our Marketing and Events Manager, helping bring a variety of projects and campaigns to life. Your role will work across all key Motherland channels including our Motherland Owned Assets, Motherland Village program and Motherland Connect.Youll assist in developing and rolling out marketing campaigns, managing timelines, and supporting the launch of new e-commerce initiatives. From drafting engaging copy to social content creation and preparing newsletters, youll play a hands-on role in keeping our communication clear and on brand.On the events side, youll support a broad range of activities, from branded fundraisers, community activations and our flagship 2026 National Conference, taking place in Toowoomba next year. Youll be a key liaison throughout the entire event journey: contributing to planning, coordinating logistics, documenting processes, and supporting implementation on the ground. Your ability to juggle details and build strong relationships will help ensure every Motherland event is executed with heart and precision.And through it all, youll be part of a close-knit, passionate team where everyone pitches in.
