Candidates must have obtained Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) or an equivalent specialist qualification.This position is for 12 months, commencing February 2026. We are seeking fellows for the following positions:Surgical Unit 2: General / BreastSurgical Unit 3: General / Endocrine & Upper GISurgical units 2 - 4 primarily manage elective surgical patients, with AGSU admitting and managing emergency patients. All General Surgery units have RACS-accredited registrars, as well as HMOs and interns. Northern Health Medical School (University of Melbourne) medical students are also assigned to the units throughout the year. Units operate across Northern Health campuses, particularly the Northern Hospital in Epping and Broadmeadows Hospital.Candidates are expected to be actively involved in divisional, sub-specialty, and unit audits; medical student, junior resident, and registrar education; and research.
