We currently have over 300+ staff nationally and are growing!Job DescriptionAs a keySenior Automotive Purchaser/Buyer, you will play a crucial role in sourcing inbound vehicles while also identifying opportunities to offload cars to external wholesalers when needed. You will be responsible for evaluating vehicles using industry tools, negotiating competitive deals, and ensuring a smooth acquisition process.Vehicle Procurement Secure a minimum number of vehicles per month from qualified sources while proactively identifying additional stock opportunities through wholesalers, brokers, and auctions.Market Evaluation Use platforms such as Autogate, Autograb, and Eval to assess market pricing, vehicle demand, and margin potential, and use data to support informed procurement decisions.Wholesale & Retail Coordination Work with internal teams to align procurement with forecasted retail needs and manage redistribution of surplus or misaligned stock through approved wholesale channels.Process Compliance Adhere to structured buying parameters as outlined by theBuying Management Team.Autonomous Decision-Making Operate independently with minimal supervision while ensuring compliance with company processes and objectives.Negotiation & Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, dealers, and auction platforms to optimize sourcing opportunities.QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experiencein an automotive sales, pricing, or wholesale business.Experienced userofAutogate, Autograb, Eval,and other industry databases for vehicle evaluation.Strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple sourcing channels effectively.Self-sufficient and team-oriented Works collaboratively but doesnt require constant oversight.Process-driven Ensures compliance with all purchasing parameters and company policiesPreferred but Not Essential:Experience working with Instant Offer, Auto Auctions, and Internet Car Buying/Selling platforms (FlipAuto, Autoflip, etc.).Previous experience infamily car buying.Additional InformationBenefits and perksLucrative earning potential, $80,000 - $100,000A ''paid day of Leave''to celebrate your Birthday.Access to a fully funded Employee Assistance Program to support you and your family.Develop your Skills & Experience with one of Australia''s most prominent brands.Why Join Us?
