This role is dedicated to building and maintaining internal developer platforms that enhance productivity, scalability, and operational efficiency. The talent will play a key role in enabling developers to deploy and manage applications seamlessly through self-service infrastructure and automation.Key Responsibilities:Design and Develop Internal Developer Platforms: Architect scalable, secure, and user-friendly platforms that streamline the developer experience.Automate Infrastructure Provisioning: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to automate and standardize infrastructure deployment.Manage and Optimize CI/CD Pipelines: Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps to ensure fast, reliable, and secure software delivery.Develop Reusable Tools and Services: Create and maintain libraries, templates, and automation scripts that can be leveraged across teams.Implement Self-Service Capabilities: Enable development teams to provision and manage their own infrastructure and services through intuitive self-service portals.Securing Applications by reviewing and reporting on Security gaps from tools like New Relic, Checkmarks, Postman etc. and take them to closureMonitor Platform Health and Usage: Set up observability tools to track logs, metrics, and traces, ensuring high availability and performance.Define and Promote Best Practices: Establish golden paths, coding standards, and operational guidelines to drive consistency and quality.Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with developers, QA, security, and operations teams to understand needs and deliver effective solutions.Drive Continuous Improvement (Kaizen): Identify bottlenecks, gather feedback, and implement improvements to enhance developer productivity and platform efficiency.Cost Optimization by reducing operational costs on Azure cloudSupport Incident Response and Root Cause Analysis: Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot platform issues, and contribute to post-mortems.Document Systems and Processes: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for platform components, tools, and workflows.Champion a DevOps Culture: Advocate for automation, collaboration, and continuous delivery across the organization.Tools & Technologies:IaC: TerraformDevelopment: C#, SQL ServerBackground in Cloud Engineering and Software Development.Strong understanding of developer experience and platform automation.Experience with self-service infrastructure and CI/CD automation.Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Additional Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.All aspects of employment at Infosys are based on merit, competence and performance.
