The Head of Data & Analytics will lead the data strategy, governance, and analytics capabilities for RetailZoo. This role is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency, customer engagement, and strategic decision-making.This role is responsible for but not limited to:Lead initiatives to improve data quality, integration, and accessibility across departments.Design and oversee the development of business intelligence (BI) dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making.Partner with commercial finance team to provide relevant data & insights to support decision making across Retail Zoo Brands including operations, marketing and customer insightsWork closely with Finance, Operations, Marketing, and IT to ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization.Lead a high-performing Data & Analytics team, fostering a data-driven culture.Provide mentorship and training to business users on data literacy and analytics toolsManage relationships with external vendors and consultants as needed.We think you''ll have:Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.Proven experience managing and scaling data teams in a growth environment.Strong experience across data analytics, insights, data science and business intelligence.Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights, working closely with non-technical senior leaders.Deep expertise in data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) and SQL.Proficiency in data modelling, ETL processes, and cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).Experience with statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and machine learning.Strong understanding of QSR metrics, customer analytics, and operational performance indicators.The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data management, business intelligence, and predictive analytics, with experience in the QSR, retail, or multi-location business environment.You will be driven and passionate, and have a true desire to succeed!In return, you will work with apassionate and driventeam that works within a fast moving and vibrant environment and has a lot of fun along the way!Please apply with your resume and cover letter.Agencies please do not apply to this role - we just want to talk to amazing, real people.Unlock job insightsSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
