Up to $190,000 Package & Salary Packaging!SummaryAn exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate leader to join a values-driven organisation as the General Manager of Aged Care & Community Support. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across various aged care sectors, including residential, home and community. You will be responsible for driving high-quality, person-centred care for our communities. As a senior member of the Leadership Team, you will be instrumental in guiding future strategy, strengthening quality and compliance frameworks, and building a cohesive, skilled, and empowered workforce.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic and operational leadership across aged care services, ensuring delivery of high-quality, responsive care that meets the complex needs of clients.Lead, support, and inspire a multidisciplinary team to deliver safeand inclusive services.Ensure full compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, Aged Care Act, and NDIS Practice Standards.Embed a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, safety, and learning throughout the organisation.Oversee clinical governance, care planning, quality systems, risk management, and incident management processes.Champion person-centred care, cultural safety, and the inclusion of client voices in service design and delivery.Manage operational budgets and funding mechanisms, including AN-ACC, while monitoring performance indicators.Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and sector partners.Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation and strategic growth in response to evolving sector reforms and client needs.Advocate for sector improvement and contribute to the development of inclusive aged care policy and practice.RequirementsProven senior leadership experience in residential and/or community aged care environments.Strong understanding of clinical governance, aged care regulations, and compliance frameworks.Demonstrated experience managing budgets, workforce planning, and service funding models.A track record of successfully leading cultural change, service improvement, and staff engagement.Expertise in trauma-informedand inclusive care practices.Excellent stakeholder engagement, data-informed decision-making, and team development capabilities.Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, aged care, social work, or related disciplines.BenefitsWork in a mission-led, purpose-driven organisation with a strong community impact.Lead a well-established team and shape the future of aged care services.Be part of a collaborative executive team driving systemic change and service innovation.Annual leave loading and additional leave options!Excellent salary + Super and Salary Packaging Options.Living and Working in Melbourne:Melbourne is known for its vibrant culture, diverse communities, and world-class healthcare and education systems.
