Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Employment Type: Full-time (Opportunity for a 4 day week)We are currently seeking a motivated and organised Production and Design Assistant to support our growing team across all aspects of the product development cycle.As the Production and Design Assistant, you will work closely with our Designer and Production team to support the end-to-end process of bringing new collections to life, from initial sketches to final garments. Youll be responsible for managing samples, updating documentation, and helping maintain the production timeline. This is a dynamic and hands-on role suited to someone with a strong eye for detail and a genuine passion for the fashion industry.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate CAD drawings in Adobe Illustrator and assist in developing detailed Tech PacksManage the receipt and organisation of samples, ensuring alignment with the range planTrack and maintain production critical paths, ensuring key deadlines are metAssist in sample and fabric management, including labelling and filing swatchesOrganise and catalogue fabric swatches and supplier cardsAttend and document notes during fit sessions with the Designer and Garment TechnicianSupport with style costings and data entry for new developmentsLiaise with offshore suppliers regarding sample progress and production updatesAssist in overseeing final product quality control checksRequirements12 years of experience in fashion, textiles, product design or a related field (internships welcome)Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially IllustratorFamiliarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)Basic knowledge of garment construction and production timelines (preferred)Highly organised with strong attention to detailClear communicator with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentPassion for fashion and a hands-on, solutions-focused attitudeGenerous clothing allowance to keep your wardrobe fresh with each new collectionBirthday leave!
