Permanent Part Time - MackayApply now Job no: 505239Employment type: Part Time, CasualLocation: Mackay & CoalfieldsCategories: Aged CareAbout the RoleAs an Aged Care Home & Community Assistant you will provide personalised support to older Australians in Mackay and surrounding suburbs, helping them to continue living independently in their own homes. We have a Permanent Part Time opportunity available. Your working hours will be in between 7am to 7pm, no sleepover shifts required. This role requires a willingness to travel, as you will be performing back-to-back, short shifts while supporting multiple clients each day.Key ResponsibilitiesDomestic assistance such as meal preparation and light house cleaningCommunity access to medical appointments and social activitiesPersonal Care including grooming and showeringSupporting with tasks and routinesBuild positive relationships with clientsSkills & ExperienceAn Australian Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance.Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationshipsA current First Aid and CPR Certificate (must be obtained prior to employment)Successful candidates will be required to undertake relevant pre-employment checks to ensure the safety of our clients.
