Known for their expertise in commercial fit-outs and refurbishments in the hospitality industry, this builder has a proven track record of successfully delivering projects across Victoria and New South Wales valued up to $60m.This exciting project presents the opportunity to contribute to the transformation of a historically significant building into a modern commercial space across 5 stories. The space will consist of a nightclub, bars, 2 different restaurants and a rooftop. With 5+ years of projects already secured, this role offers long-term career potential.Role OverviewReporting directly to the Project Manager, the Site Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of this prestigious site, ensuring its successful delivery on time, within budget, and to an exceptional standard of quality.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the coordination of trades, direct labour, and materials.Act as the point of contact between Engineers, Senior Management, and Architects.Proactively address on-site challenges while maintaining strict Health & Safety standards.Ensure the project is delivered to the highest quality while achieving time and budget goals.Requirements for the Role:At least 5 years experience as a Site Manager with a principal contractor.High end hospitality fit out experience is highly advantageous.Proven experience managing projects valued at $5m or more.Expertise in commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.Construction-related tertiary qualification.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills.Ability to effectively lead a team and collaborate with all project stakeholders.This is a rare opportunity to work on a landmark project in Melbourne''s CBD with an industry-leading builder.
