Since opening in January 1994, the hospital has grown rapidly to meet the needs of Melbournes fast-growing western suburbs. A new emergency department is currently underway with a view to have it completed late 2026, The expansion will increase treatment spaces from 33 to 67. This includes four new resuscitation bays, 16 short stay beds and 36 emergency care cubicles to care for a rapidly growing population.We are currently seeking a Sonographer to support the team at Werribee. Our new public hospital provides a dynamic environment where you''ll be supported by an incredibly dedicated and collaborative team, led by flexible and supportive management working across operation theatres, a newly build emergency department and ICU.This position is offered on a Full-Time or part time basis. Working Monday to Friday from 8 am 5pm with on-call shift work and the occasional weekend shift.Relocation support is also available for successful candidates looking to join our region.To be successful in this role:Qualified Sonographer with ASAR AccreditationCompetent with general US exams, obstetrics and gynaecological scansWe also welcome dual qualified Sonographer/Radiographer candidates and can support their development.Our commitment to quality and patient care is essential, and yourExcellent interpersonal and communication skills will allow you to thrive in our team-oriented environment.Ability to prioritize a busy workload and work effectively both independently and within a team.At Lumus, we believe in investing in our employees and providing opportunities for growth.
