Currently, we are looking for Cloud DevOps Engineer for our client who is a leading in the insurance industry.PURPOSE:Facilitate the overall Technology organization to adopt cloud-first strategy & realize the overall Group Technology Strategy by where Cloud based operation underpins.Drive cloud transformation concepts and engineering patterns into development teams to keep systems operating effectivelyProvide engineering and technical leadership for the design, planning, development, and delivery of critical applications on cloud-native microservices architectures that will drive optimizations and improvements in the security, agility, responsiveness, and capital efficiency of SecDevOps environment.KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES:Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple CoE and agency DevOps environmentsDeploy and maintain critical applications on cloud-native microservices architecture -Use infrastructure-as-code (currently, but not limited to, Terraform) and configuration management (currently, but not limited to, Chef) to automate CoE and local multi-cloud infrastructureReview code and consult with other engineers on new features and their implications for site performance, reliability, and security for the security of CoE and local DevOps environmentsImprove automation and fault tolerance of the deployment processDrive long-term improvement in CoE and agency DevOps system availability by removing single points of failureKEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:KPI within 3 years:Adopt 100% of application hosted on cloud servicesAchieve 100% adoption of automatic software deploymentReduce 30% in systems managed by cloud service migrationEnsure to achieve 100% cloud adoption in 10 major markets in FWD.KPI to enable Polaris strategy:Execute the Polaris strategy to facilitate the digital and cloud-enabled transformations:Reduce the lead time for production migrationIncrease the number of projects delivered in the cloud environmentReduce the number of high and critical vulnerabilities by applying the cloud security controls to provide safer systemsKPI on daily basis:Rollout and manage cloud projects in all FWD marketsManages cloud solutions delivery risks, identifies, determines and recommends risk mitigation solution for deployment and maintenance as appropriateEXTERNAL & INTERNAL CONTACTS:Manage cross-functional, external and internal partners for country-specific and group-led initiativesGuide cross-functional stakeholders and resources to deliver on target cloud solution statesEnsure closed-loop execution and co-ordination with peer and Country technology leaders and teamsLead vendor management for assigned cloud solutionsEnsure efficient communicate and coordination with peer Group Technology teams across application, infrastructure and security on the solution roadmap, design, and implementationDECISION MAKING:Execute the multi-cloud strategy and meet achievable milestones for cloud adoptions, which aligns with the target KPIs set in Polaris and Tech strategies for Group and all marketsDetermine, promote and execute the best cloud engineering and implementation approachesCollaborate and coordinate with relevant parties through triage and consultation to fulfil cloud engineering requirementsLead and manage prioritization decisioning and allocation to achieve optimal resourcing outcomes to fulfill cloud solution goalsDesign the cloud implementation approach and technologyQUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:5+ years of IT experienceRelevant degree or diploma programme of studyAdvanced level software architecture and programming skillsKNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS:Experience with DevOps frameworks such as; release engineering tactics, advanced test automation, infrastructure as code, self-healing, technical debt and toil elimination and chaos engineeringExperience working with APIs achieving automation and interoperabilityExperience with containers platforms (Docker EE or Openshift) and orchestration (Swarm, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes or AWS Elastic Kubernetes)Strong practical Linux- and Windows-based system administration skills in a cloud or virtualization environmentsExperience building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructureExperience with seamless/automated build scripts used for release managementUnderstanding and experience with taggingGood command of spoken and written EnglishCOMPETENCIES:Understand business practices, approaches, organization, politics, and culturePromote cloud architecture best practices in-line with functional and company business goalsAssess the current technology gap to develop, coordinate and implement changes to meet the new requirements according to critical deadlinesManage projects;
