In addition to this they will also build and develop supply sources and supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply and ongoing innovation.Whats InvolvedManagement of the end to end buying process, from supplier to store layout and online offer; and everything in betweenYou will set the merchandise range for a designated department within the strategies and brand architecture of the categoryYou will need to follow market trends and continually seek out opportunities to drive innovation, lower costs and deliver value to customersYoull be responsible for the development of annual business plans outlining product, pricing, and marketing strategies consistent with the broader category and business objectivesNegotiate product prices, volumes and terms with suppliersUnderstand the competitive landscape both locally and globally for the designated category departmentsRegularly check and assess competitor product assortments, and pricing, both in store and online, to identify opportunities and ensure we have the best offerEnsure that department and product specific promotional programs are developed and implemented to support buying plansProvide support to Trainee Buyers and Buyers AssistantsWho Were Looking ForYou will have a minimum of 10 years experience within a similar Buyership portfolio, one that is challenging, evolving and fast paced.You will be excited to add value to the team and the business.
