Youll ensure the safe and efficient operation of EI&C systems while improving reliability, compliance and performance.This is a 2 year fixed term contract.Key Responsibilities:Managing and supporting end-to-end delivery of EI&C projects, from design to executionLeading upgrades and maintenance for LV/HV electrical systems, DCS, PLCs, SCADA and instrumentationTroubleshooting and resolving system failures to improve reliability and performanceEnsuring compliance with Australian standards and hazardous area requirementsWorking closely with site teams, OEMs, and contractors to deliver safe and efficient outcomesContribute to continuous improvement in automation, power distribution and plant control systemsSupporting HAZOPs, SIL assessments, and shutdown planningReviewing and developing technical documentation and scopes of workSupport Management of Change (MoC) processes and project risk assessmentsEnsure project delivery aligns with safety, quality and performance expectationsAbout YouDegree-qualified in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering7 plus years'' EI&C experience in oil & gas, energy or heavy industry - with a strong electrical backgroundRPEV (Electrical) registeredStrong background in control systems, hazardous area compliance and Ex-rated equipmentProven experience delivering projects in complex operational and hazardous environmentsSolid understanding of AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 60079Strong communication skills and a collaborative approachAbility and willingness to travel to siteAbout UsAmplitude Energy is proud to source, develop and produce domestic natural gas that will bridge the gap between renewable energy supply and consumer demand for Australia''s energy future.
