Job Description

OverviewThis is a values-driven clinical role supporting people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, many of whom have experienced forced displacement, trauma, or systemic barriers. As a Clinician, you''ll provide evidence-based psychological assessments and therapy in a trauma-informed and recovery-oriented framework.You''ll work alongside case managers and other professionals to deliver flexible, person-centred interventions and play a key role in improving mental health outcomes for vulnerable clients.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Support & Therapeutic InterventionConduct psychological assessments focused on cognitive, emotional, and behavioural healthDeliver evidence-based individual and group interventions (face-to-face and via telehealth)Provide tailored clinical recommendations and treatment planningMonitor client outcomes and adjust approaches in line with recovery goalsStakeholder Engagement & CollaborationWork closely with GPs, health services, and case management teams to support coordinated careProvide clinical guidance to support staff in relation to behaviour management and client care strategiesReporting & Case DocumentationMaintain accurate and timely case notes, care plans, and reportsEnsure client information systems are updated in accordance with legislation and best practiceOrganisational ContributionPromote a culture of respect, inclusion, and client empowermentEnsure the safety and wellbeing of clients is prioritised in all areas of service deliveryUphold the organisation''s values through daily interactions and decisionsWhat We''re Looking ForEssential CriteriaFull registration as a Psychologist with AHPRAExperience delivering clinical or forensic psychological servicesDemonstrated ability to work across outreach settings, including telehealth and rural or remote hubsCapacity to manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality client careStrong cultural awareness and experience working with people from refugee and migrant backgroundsExcellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skillsCurrent driver''s licenceInterested?For further information on the role, please contact Greg Camm at greg.camm@twrecruitment.com.au or 03 9110 0095.TRADEWIND AUSTRALIA AND THE ORGANISATIONS WE REPRESENT ARE PROUD TO BE EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES EMPLOYERS.We welcome applications from people who reflect the diversity of the organisations we partner with, and the people they support.
