This role plays a key part in ensuring our terminals safety and security, especially as we roll out the new Security Screening Project (SSP).You''ll be integral to the successful integration of new screening technologies, providing hands-on support for system updates, troubleshooting, vendor management, and continuous improvement. You can also learn more about life at Melbourne Airport our culture, values, and what makes us unique at Join us in shaping the future of aviation as we propel Melbourne Airport towards becoming Australia''s favourite Airport destination.Key responsibilities:The role''s duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:Supporting and maintaining EACS and CCTV systems, ensuring they operate efficientlyMonitoring system status, alarms, and uptime, with active intervention when issues ariseManaging service desk tickets and working closely with the Applications Support team during upgradesCoordinating system design and integration for new CAPEX projectsManaging vendor relationships to ensure KPIs are met in line with service agreementsConfiguring access permissions for internal and external stakeholdersMonitoring hardware lifecycles and contributing to asset replacement planningLeading camera view management in collaboration with operational stakeholdersThe successful candidate will have:Experience working with enterprise-level servers, security software, and field hardwareHands-on knowledge of legacy and modern EACS and CCTV systemsStrong understanding of network infrastructure and aviation security principlesPractical experience with CCTV analytics integrationAbility to manage contractors, budgets, and vendor SLAs effectivelyExcellent communication and collaboration skills able to explain technical systems in simple termsStrong problem-solving mindset and the ability to work within complex project environmentsWe understand that not everyone will feel they meet all of these 100%.
