In-House Legal Counsel, Insurance LitigationWe have two rare opportunities for lawyers with defendant professional indemnity, public liability, or defendant insurance experience to transition into an in-house role working on claims and policy advisory work.Key responsibilities:Collaborate with a large team of experienced lawyers across Australia, many from top-tier or large defendant insurance law firmsHandle a variety of professional indemnity claims across different professions and industriesWork on professional negligence defence cases in construction, property, and professional services sectorsInvolve in a small amount of personal injuries workProvide legal advice on policy coverage and new insurance productsIdeal candidates will have:Role 1: 2-5 years'' post-admission experience in defendant insurance litigation, preferably with professional indemnity or personal injuries background; other areas considered with trainingRole 2: 6-10 years'' post-admission experience in defendant insurance litigation, with a focus on professional indemnity; other areas considered with training.
