IMMEDIATE START - Mechanical Service Advisor JRT is seeking experienced Mechanical Service Advisor to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Yeppoon, QLD, this is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading construction and equipment hire company. As part of the JRT Mechanical Team, the Mechanical Service Advisor works with minimal support and guidance to contribute to the effective and efficient delivery of a high-quality responsive support service. Under limited supervision, the Mechanical Service Advisor provides estimated cost analysis of repairs and routine maintenance. Through effective communication, the Mechanical Service Advisor determines the services necessary, predicts the time needed for completion, and maintains positive communication during the process. The Mechanical Service Advisor assesses information on hand to determine required services. Your role will include, but not be limited to: Creation of Purchase Orders Onboarding of machinery to sites Data entry of workshop records Management of maintenance department registers and reports Advising and scheduling relevant parties for necessary repairs and maintenance Preparing and reviewing all repair work orders for accuracy concerning parts, materials, and labour, and approving the release of equipment for delivery to the customer Maintaining a filing and archive system for all documents Providing detailed weekly reports to the Mechanical Manager Responding to relevant enquiries To be considered for this role, you must have: Demonstrated knowledge of practices relating to mechanical workshops, including understanding of mechanical/technical terms, safety, and customer service Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems Competency in Office software packages - Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience in Mechanic Desk software, desired Experience in MYOB or Xero, desired At least two years experience in an administrative position Experience working in a service department Ability to write and work on routine reports and correspondence Excellent communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management Willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Current Driver''s license and own transport Initiative and ability to work without supervision Willingness to work as part of a team and assist with other duties as required What we offer Competitive salary and allowances Wages paid weekly Full-time position - NO Labour Hire Opportunities for career development and ongoing training Employee discounts and offers with various retailers Well-maintained fleet A collaborative and inclusive team culture About us JRT Group is a leading provider of construction services in Yeppoon and surrounding regions.
