Your lead-by-example approach will be infectious.You are available to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.What you will be doing:Inspiring the team and leading by example to ensure our customers have a genuinely unforgettable dining experience.Controlling general and specialised duties, including supervision and training of other kitchen employees.Ordering and stock control.Being solely responsible for other chefs and kitchen employees.Assisting the Executive Chef/Sous Chef and operating a section of the kitchen as necessary, ensuring that food standards, preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques are carried out according to established recipes and standards.Additional InformationOur HotelThe Novotel & ibis Styles Melbourne Airport is a new dual-branded, 464-room hotel that recently opened on 1 July 2024.The Novotel Melbourne Airport with 248 rooms and ibis Styles Melbourne Airport with 216 rooms are located just steps from Terminal 4, Melbourne Airport.
