With full ownership of our farm, weretain control of the entire growing and distribution process and canconfidently deliver the freshest, highest standard of mushrooms.About therole:An exciting opportunity for aqualified Maintenance Fitter to work as part of a supportive team at ourMushroom growing facility in Mernda. Reporting directly to the Engineering andReliability Manager, a key focus for this role will be to facilitate andconduct proactive Maintenance.Key responsibilities include:Ensure that site assets are routinely inspected, and failures caused byfatigue, neglect or normal wear are identified and repaired prior to a majorbreakdown.Perform maintenance, including tests, measurements, adjustments, partsreplacement, lubricating, and cleaning of plant and equipment, to preventfaults occurring and to avoid any unscheduled breakdown and downtime.Pre-plan downtime for equipment replacement based on date, and equipmentrunning hours, in accordance with manufacturers recommendations.Schedule maintenance based on resourcing and facility availability.Conduct condition-based maintenance and fault reporting based onindicators that show equipment may fail or that the equipment performance isdeteriorating.Assist with the disposal of obsolete machinery, plant, and equipment.Install new machinery, plant, and equipment.Fault find using technical manuals, diagrams and/or machine knowledge,and repair equipment before it causes multiple damage to other parts.Provide engineering solutions for continuous improvementsHelp produce and implement SWMS and Risk Assessment documents, asrequired.About you:Minimum completion of Certificate 3 Engineering (Mechanical), to qualify at a Level ranging from a C6 to C10, Fitter and Machinist / Fitter and Turner.Forklift, EWP and Scissor-Lift Licences preferred.Experience using CMMS beneficial (MEX preferred).Experience implementing and maintaining Pneumatic-Hydraulic equipment beneficial.Food Manufacturing knowledge or relevant industry experience preferred.Competent at basic oxy acetylene gas, and welding repairs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
