Youll be coached and mentored by some of the best engineers in the industry and rotate through a range of engineering tasks all designed to develop your technical skills and help you takeoff in your new career as a Jetstar Engineer. In 2026, we are seeking apprentices in the aviation trade streams of Structural, Mechanical and Avionics.Jetstar Engineering: A team that takes off togetherWe rely on our engineers to deliver our superior safety standards, up to the second. Theyre the trouble-shooters, glitch-fixers and tech-experts who make sure we take to the sky safely.Our Melbourne Engineering Precinct, which is the main maintenance hub of our network, remains the proud home of Jetstars Apprentice Program. This year however, were also excited to offer a limited number of Apprentice roles based out of Sydney Airport. Our engineers are uniquely placed to enjoy a career that sees them developing skills across all functional areas of maintenance line, intermediate and base activity. Our team also has the opportunity to work not only on Jetstar fleet, but customer aircraft A320/21, B787 and A320 Freighter.
