Youll help oversee operations, manage a talented team, and ensure every dish is top-notch. Your responsibilities include menu planning, mentoring junior chefs, and maintaining a smooth kitchen operation. If you enjoy leading a team, working in a fast-paced environment, and staying organized, this role is for you!Bring your skills and creativity to the table lets cook up something amazing together!Your experience and skills include:Previous experience with significant responsibility within a kitchen brigade.Strong background in Italian cuisine and pizza preparation, including dough hand-stretching skills.Experience working in a hotel environment is highly regarded.Experience managing staffing requirements, planning and assigning work, and motivating team members to meet daily goals.Strong knowledge of food safety practices.Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.This is a full-time role with a salary of $73,348 gross per annum.Additional InformationOur HotelThe Novotel & ibis Styles Melbourne Airport is a new dual-branded hotel with 464 rooms, opened on 1 July 2024.The Novotel Melbourne Airport has 248 rooms, and ibis Styles Melbourne Airport has 216 rooms.
