Time left to apply: End Date: July 25, 2025 (29 days left to apply)Job requisition ID: REQ-7063974We are currently seeking a strong Finance Manager to oversee the administration and execution of various accounting tasks within the general accounting function in a designated area, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in compliance with regulatory standards.Work is based in Melbourne, with flexibility for remote work from our Sydney office.This role will be responsible for:Preparation of statutory submissions to the Development Financial Control team on a yearly and half-yearly basis.Preparation of trial balances of Trust Accounts for JV monthly.Managing the annual audit process and liaising with external auditors.Preparing internal monthly management reporting submissions for MQ, THP, and B&W.Liaising with internal business units, functions, and external advisors as part of CA Review, Business Planning, and management reporting forecast updates.Ensuring the integrity of project financial models (Commercial Assessments).Modeling of commercial and retail leasing deals for potential tenants.Conducting scenario analysis to inform the development team on leasing terms and preparing leasing papers for internal review.Reporting on Development Management revenue, COGS, and tracking overhead costs.Maintaining GL managing FAR for accurate AP/AR processing, cash management, reconciliations, and journals.Responding to ad-hoc requests for technical support and advice.Improving financial and management reporting processes.Staying updated on technical changes and communicating impacts to team members and management.Managing team members to meet deadlines.Building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external contacts.Your backgroundYou should have relevant tertiary qualifications, including CA or CPA, with at least 5 years of project accounting experience. Strong stakeholder management skills, a hands-on approach, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
