Youll coordinate engagement strategies, support consumer representatives, and help departments meet the requirements of relevant standards including NSQHS Standard 2: Partnering with Consumers, Aged Care Quality Standards, and NDIS Practice Standards.Responsibilities include:Leading and evaluating the WGHG Consumer Engagement Strategy and Action PlanSupporting inclusive partnerships with diverse consumer groupsCoordinating and expanding our consumer representative networkFacilitating co-design, feedback integration, and service improvementsReporting on outcomes and maintaining compliance with accreditation standardsPromoting a culture of respect, leadership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementQualifications and skills required:A relevant tertiary qualification in health, community development, public health, or a related fieldExperience in stakeholder engagement or consumer participationHigh-level communication and relationship-building skillsFamiliarity with NSQHS standards and person-centred care approachesStrong project coordination and organisational skillsAbout our organisationThe West Gippsland Healthcare Group provides acute medical and surgical, obstetric, emergency, residential, and community health services to 45,000 people in the Baw Baw Shire and surrounding areas.
