Our role is to support, advocate for and represent the local government sector, so our 29 council members are best placed to serve their communities.Were a small adaptive organisation that is driven to making a difference for Tasmania. Annual leave is five weeks plus the Christmas/New Year shutdown, as well as generous superannuation and long service leave provisions. Our office is on the doorstep of cafes, Hill Street Grocer and the Hobart Rivulet, the perfect place for a lunch time walk. We look after our people, supporting and rewarding them. Most staff work off-site a few days a week, and those with kids have flexible arrangements for pick-ups, drop-offs and events.About youYouve got demonstrated policy and program skills and experience, with a track record of achievement, bringing creativity to challenging problems. Youre known for your communication skills that connect people, uncover the true problems and find the ways to take action.
