In addition, this position will ensure the delivery of project coordination and design solutions to meet the Network Services and Electricity Networks works program.The ideal candidate for this role will have a detailed knowledge of the electricity distribution industry as well as having a strong background in project management. In addition, this candidate will have excellent team leadership skills and a passion for continuous improvement of the team and business processes.Location: Bendigo, Shepparton, Echuca or KynetonKey duties andresponsibilities:Ensure the timely and cost effective delivery of design services for the Major projects program of Electricity Networks and Customer initiated worksOversee the scoping, planning and delivery of the program of customer initiated worksWork collaboratively with the customer service group to ensure efficient and timely customer outcomesDevelop and implement new and innovative ways to meet business needs by applying technical expertise and experienceManage external contractors providing delivery and design services to ensure cost effective, timely and high quality servicesRequired skills and experience:Tertiary qualification in an Engineering, Technical or Management disciplineSubstantial experience in the power industry in the areas of design and / or construction / operationsExperience leading a large and diverse technical workforceWorking knowledge of the electrical distribution network, particularly design and compliance with relevant customer and Australian StandardsYour career with us:We have a diversity of teams across our business, all contributing to great customer and community outcomes.
