The role requires regular access to the production floor to observe equipment in operation, verify compliance with safety standards, and develop accurate technical documentation$53 Plus per hourCasual ongoing roleImmediate startDayshift 8am 4pm With flexibility to complete overtimeThe Technical Document Writer will create, revise and maintain detailed and accurate documentation related to the production processes, quality control measures and regulatory compliance requirements.Duties include, although not limited to:Conduct risk assessments, lock out/tag out and observe machinery in operation -Liaising with the Trade teamEnsure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental requirementsUnderstand power/isolation of energy sources in manufacturing machinery Electrical , pneumatic, hydraulic , mechanical , thermal and chemical systemsCapable of document writing particularly SOPs / Work Instructions in a manufacturing and warehousing environmentGood computer and typing skills and proficient with MS OfficeTo be considered for this position, you will have:Ideal candidates will have either a Mechanical/Trades background or extensive machine operating experience or Environmental, Health & Safety experiencePrevious experience writing SOPs or work instructions highly advantageousExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong communicationShows initiative, with excellent attention to detailEasy going team player but also very capable of working autonomouslyTo submit your application, please forward your resume in word format by selecting apply.
