Together4Youth is a collaborative network of 20+ Australian not-for-profits that deliver evidence-based wellbeing and transition-to-work programs for secondary schools. Formed in 2020 and recently spun out from Raise Foundation, T4Y reduces schools admin load by acting as a single, coordinated point of contact. Now, as an independent charity with its own Board, the organisation must lock in long-term strategy, sustainable funding and fit-for-purpose infrastructure.Position SummaryThe Interim CEO will steady day-to-day operations while leading a strategic review that clarifies T4Ys role, finances and impact model. You will strengthen the community-of-practice across member organisations, install lean systems, nurture key relationships and prepare a smooth hand-over to the future permanent CEO.Key ResponsibilitiesFocus Areas & Expected Outputs (Month 6)Strategic Leadership Facilitate Board agreement on core purpose and value proposition. Deliver a 3-year strategic plan with measurable KPIs and fully costed funding roadmap. Provide transparent, data-driven reports to the Board.Operational Management Keep programs running smoothly in partner schools. Introduce streamlined SOPs for finance, HR, IT and risk. Draft FY-26 budget and workforce plan.Community of Practice Launch at least three new knowledge-sharing mechanisms (e.g., monthly forums, online hub). Document a shared code of practice and collaboration metrics.Impact Measurement Finalise a network-wide logic model and indicator set. Pilot a common reporting template/dashboard in 5 member organisations.Organisational Readiness Confirm org chart, role descriptions, succession and handover plan. Compile policy library, stakeholder map and risk register for the incoming CEO.Qualifications & Experience10+ years senior leadership, including 5+ years at executive level.Demonstrated success guiding organisations through transition or rapid growth.Experience in not-for-profit, education or youth-service settings.Board engagement, multi-stakeholder management and financial stewardship.Working knowledge of school environments and youth wellbeing challenges.Bachelors degree in Business, Education, Social Sciences or related field.Preferred (not required)Experience in start-ups or social enterprises.Expertise in collective-impact networks or communities of practice.Familiarity with youth mental-health programs.Proven ability to design or manage social-impact measurement.Key CompetenciesStrategic thinking Change management Collaboration Stakeholder diplomacy Financial acumen Results orientation Communication Facilitation Problem-solving Organisational development.Working Conditions & CompensationLocation: Flexible/remote; periodic interstate travel to schools and partners.Hours: Full-time; occasional evenings/weekends for Board or stakeholder events.Contract: ~6 month contract.
