At SVES, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive, collegial work culture with a shared commitment to continuous learning. You will have access to top-tier tools including Synthes and Orthomed plating, and orthopaedic equipment E-Pen Neuro Burr, Biomedtrix THR systems, and I-Loc Interlocking Nail System.Our new Head of Department will have full accountability forSetting the vision and roadmap for the Surgery service & teamManaging the surgical caseload in conjunction with the surgical teamCollaborating with Specialists across other departments to provide patients and clients with the best care outcomesProviding mentoring and guidance to internsOffering orthopaedic, soft tissue, neurologic, and emergency surgeries (as required)Promoting and upholding the core values of VetPartners, fostering a collaborative and cooperative culture across all services.What Were Looking ForWe are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified Small Animal Specialist Surgeon who has achieved diplomate or equivalent status (ACVS/ECVS/FANZCVS) and is eligible for Specialist Registration with the Australian Veterinary Board Council.
