Are you a Civil Drainage Engineer with experience working on major Railway projects in Melbourne Victoria? This is your opportunity to join a globally recognised engineering consultancy known for its technical excellence, innovative design solutions, and a consistent record of delivering high-quality infrastructure projects on time and within budget.Our Engineering consulting client is seeking a experienced Civil Drainage Engineer to join their dynamic Rail team . This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced Consultancy environment, enjoys working autonomously, and brings strong technical expertise to the table.Key Requirements:Proven Drainage Design Engineering experience specific to delivering Rail infrastructure projects in VictoriaStrong knowledge and hands-on experience in Open Channel Drainage DesignPerform hydrological and hydraulic assessments using software such as 12D Drainage, Drains, PC Drains, and WindesDesign and model stormwater, sewer, and subsoil drainage systemsDevelop open channel, culvert, and overland flow path designs in compliance with relevant standards and guidelinesPrepare and review detailed drainage design drawings, calculations, and technical documentationLiaise with civil, structural, environmental, and geotechnical teams to ensure coordinated project outcomesEnsure designs meet Victorian local council, state, and national regulatory requirements and standardsConduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction and delivery phasesManage drainage components of projects from concept through to detailed design and deliveryIdentify and mitigate drainage risks and contribute to sustainable water management solutionsCommunicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authoritiesThis is an exciting Contract opportunity to bring your experience into a forward-thinking, supportive team where your contributions will directly shape the success of significant infrastructure outcomes.Please note:Only shortlisted candidates who meet the outlined criteria will be contacted.Only candidates with valid Australian work rights will be considered for this role.To submit your application in strict confidence, click the ''apply'' button.
