This newly created leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and build enterprise-wide project delivery capability from the ground up, including the delivery of a major ERP transformation impacting over 2,700 staff across 54 sites.About the RoleReporting to the Deputy Director of Business Services, the Head of Program Delivery will oversee a broad portfolio of strategic initiatives, with a particular focus on establishing CESLs internal project delivery function and leading major programs aligned with CESLs strategic agenda, including a significant ERP transformation.While the long-term objective is to establish and lead a high performing PMO, in the short term this role will require someone comfortable being hands-on with delivery. You''ll be rolling up your sleeves and directly managing programs while gradually building capability and scaling the function.This is a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the education sector through purposeful leadership, accountability, delivery excellence and systems transformation.Key Responsibilities Establish and lead a best-practice internal project delivery function (PMO, Project Managers, BAs, Change, etc.) Directly manage critical programs during the initial phase of transformation, including ERP delivery Partner closely with stakeholders across IT, Finance, HR, and Operations Report to the Executive Leadership Team and CESL Board on portfolio performance and milestones Align projects with business objectives and drive both transformational, incremental change, governance and risk frameworks. Foster a delivery culture built on collaboration, continuous improvement and strategic alignmentAbout YouYoure a senior program delivery leader with a strategic mindset and a pragmatic approach. You thrive in complex environments and are equally confident working at the executive level or managing delivery on the ground. 10+ years experience leading large-scale programs within complex organisations Proven success delivering enterprise technology solutions, particularly ERP platforms Strong track record in building or maturing internal delivery capability (PMO, frameworks, governance) Comfortable being hands-on in the early stages of delivery while building a sustainable function Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and team leadership skills Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Business or a related field (postgraduate qualifications desirable)Why Join CESL?
