As a Theatre Assistant, you will be working in the theatre department with responsibilities including:Working with and assisting clinical staffSetting up consumables and other specialty stock for theatre cases for the coming days theatre listsEnsuring theatres are set up for surgical procedures and equipment has been checkedIn this role you will have access to an outstanding working environment, modern facilities, innovative education programs and a supportive management team.Skills And ExperienceAn interest in patient care is essential to succeed in this role. You will have excellent communication skills and a willingness to develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures. You will be a motivated, positive individual and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.You will also bring:Certificate 3 or Certificate 4 Level in relatable field or AIN CertificateMinimum 1 year experience as a Theatre Assistant or similar roleExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effective within a team environment and independently.Excellent patient and customer service focusBe available for a range of shifts across a 7-day rotating roster.Remuneration:Base Hourly ranging from $27.66 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.About UsAt The Avenue we have an excellent reputation for a high commitment to customer service, staff satisfaction and quality improvement.
